Pannal Sports Super Sunday. It could be a first U11, U10, U9 and U8? league titles
*** Stop Press *** The U8s have now also won their league after Pannal Ash failed to pick up maximum points in one of their outstanding fixtures. Four out of four titles for Pannal Sports at 7-a-side!
What a day for Pannal Sports 7 a side players and coaches. Their results yesterday could establish a record. With three league titles in the bag and a guarenteed play-off spot for the fourth Pannal Sports JFC could do a clean sweep of the 7 a side league titles.
Has this been done before? Who knows. Does it matter? Well yes it does and for two good reasons; firstly it's great to see success and the players, parents and coaches from the 4 squads invloved will have had a great day, secondly it endorses the clubs commitment to football for all. A club like Pannal Sports can divide its resources between Sports and Panthers squads and be successful, and how!
Congratulations to all involved. And although they won't kick anther ball in the league this year good luck to the U8s Sports squad for league title number 4, they are waiting on the result of Pannal Ashs two closing fixtures to decide the league.
Why not join the squads and celebrate at the Dinner and Dance 17th May at the Pavilions! << Back
